As outlined in our Constitution, COED defines itself as a community of practice. All those who have current, former, or imminent responsibility for planning, organizing, or delivery of educational development programs or activities within post-secondary education in Ontario, and who support the aims of COED are invited to join.
To become a COED member, you will need to join this website. You can do this by first creating an account (this link opens in a new window). Registering for an account on this page automatically makes you a member of COED, and secures your eligibility to participate in Council governance (such as elections for the Council Executive). Creating a COED|CFPO membership on this website ensures you are able to vote in our annual elections. Memberships are manually approved, so please be patient as we check for new members bi-weekly.
Most communication goes through the COED Listserv which we recommend all members join. Instructions to subscribe to (or unsubscribe from) the listserv is provided below.

Open to all those interested in subscribing, the listServ acts as a member-driven means of broadcasting relevant news and updates.
Once you’ve joined, emails can be sent to listserv members using ido-ontario at lists dot carleton dot ca (using the email address you registered with).
